OVERVIEW

Wayfair, an Ecommerce furniture distributor built a new Distribution Center in Hebron, KY. Wayfair hired A2i systems to support the design and implementation with the pick module, racking system, conveyor and sortation systems.

A2i worked closely with the client to ensure the proper design for the operational goals that Wayfair wanted to execute. After the design A2i procured the materials, went to the local municipalities to ensure proper permitting and implemented the system all within a challenging timeline and budget.

A2i’s Sr. Project Manager worked closely with the clients General Contractor to create the most efficient schedule and to make sure that the General Contractor knew the schedule.

Wayfair has built twelve more facilities in the United States and one in Europe, totaling over nine million square feet. A2i has been awarded all projects involving pick modules, racking systems, conveyor and sortation systems for these facilities.
